In The Wind

I started this the other night, so it isn't that I've completed several manipulations is a short space of time.

This image, to me, represents the mental scars brought by another's death or an act of destruction. The horse is pictured, alone, in a stormy sky. The sky, being so dark at one side, represents the darkness of mind brought on by that of death. The sky being fairly light at the other side represents the fact that you can get over the darkness, although it isn't easy. The skull (opacity of the skull is lowered, dA probably skewered quality there a bit) represents the hiding of this pain, and the pattern of the skull represents the fact that some people hide it, paint over it, if you will.

Overall the image represents the suffering brought from the mental scars. It represents that although physical scars of destruction still remain and are often classed as 'greater and worse', mental scars can still be a challenge.
